I am Kay Kopit, a healthy, happy, well balanced woman. It hasn't always been this way. My family was plagued by the disease of alcoholism. Although I appeared normal, I was extremely troubled. I spent years in pain, living in chaos and confusion. I wanted to die to end the suffering.
